AI Case Studies in Dubai: How to Evaluate the Evidence

Evaluate AI case studies with a practical evidence checklist: baseline, workflow scope, measurement period, human oversight and attributable results.

What makes an AI case study useful?

An AI case study should let a buyer understand what changed, why it changed and how the outcome was measured. A percentage without a baseline, measurement period or defined workflow is not enough to assess an implementation. This guide explains how to evaluate evidence before commissioning an AI project in Dubai or the wider GCC.

The scenarios below are illustrative implementation patterns. They are not historical client results or performance forecasts. For examples of systems CONSAI has built, see the project portfolio, where delivery scope is described separately from measured business outcomes.

Ask for six pieces of evidence

  • Starting condition: the process, volumes, data quality and existing bottleneck.
  • Scope: the exact systems and tasks that changed, including work that stayed manual.
  • Baseline: how response time, processing effort, errors or conversions were measured before the change.
  • Comparison: consistent definitions and a comparable period after deployment.
  • Dependencies: changes in staffing, advertising, demand or training that could affect the result.
  • Ownership: who operates the workflow, reviews exceptions and verifies the figures.

Example: inquiry handling

A team could connect a website form to its CRM, classify the inquiry and prepare a draft response for staff review. Measure the time from a valid submission to a meaningful response, the share of inquiries with an assigned owner and the number needing correction. Count failed integrations and duplicate records too. Faster automated acknowledgements alone do not establish better service or higher sales.

Example: document processing

An extraction workflow could turn a supplier document into proposed structured fields. Test it against representative documents with known correct answers. Measure field accuracy, review time and exceptions by document type. Retain human approval where an error could change a commercial commitment or another consequential decision.

Separate a pilot from a production result

A successful demonstration does not establish performance under live workload. Check access controls, monitoring, retry behaviour, costs and an owner for failures. Begin with a bounded pilot and record acceptance criteria before deployment. Publish outcome claims only when the measurement and permission to disclose them are available.
